What are top caps, ahead caps or stem caps?
Top caps, also called stem caps or ahead caps, are the finishing caps at the steerer tube in your cockpit. We offer AL01 aluminium, CF01 carbon and AL01 Custom for your own artwork.
Which top caps fit my bike?
Our AL01 and CF01 ahead caps are designed for standard 1 1/8-inch steerer tubes. Check the dimensions and your stem specifications on the relevant product page.
What is the difference between AL01 and CF01?
AL01 is made from aluminium and offers printed designs and colours. CF01 is made from 3K carbon with permanently branded designs.
Can I create my own top cap?
Yes. With AL01 Custom you can upload your own photo or artwork and add text and stickers. We produce from just one piece.
Is the screw included?
Yes. AL01 and CF01 come with an aluminium screw. Their weights of 11 g for AL01 and 10 g for CF01 include the screw.
Can I use an ahead cap on a gravel bike?
The key requirement is the matching standard 1 1/8-inch steerer tube. Check this fit and your stem, whether you ride MTB or gravel.
